Channel Fight
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Description:
Fight against a trio of fighters in turn-by-turn combat. Six unique characters with their own abilities. Remove the enemies armor for bigger damage! Avoid losing your own.
Tutorial:
There is no tutorial in game so it'll be here! If you're already familiar with turn based games and prefer to figure it out yourself, go for it! This reference will be here if you're ever unsure.
- Each of your characters get a turn to use a skill or attack. Then the enemies each get their turns. All characters have a 'Channel', indicated by their highlighted colour. These channels are used by 'Broadcast' skills which will target characters with the channel of the character using the broadcast skill, regardless of if the character is an enemy or an ally.
- 'Hypnotising' skills allow you to trick an enemy into reducing their armor. Reducing armor allows you to do more damage. Enemies can 'hypnotise' you into removing your armor as well, so be careful.
- Debuffs are indicated by a 'no signal' symbol on the character portrait. This debuff increases the chance of being hypnotised to 100%. Debuffs can also be removed with the right skill.

I like it, but as I just found. The guy with the spiral staff can soft-lock you if he's your last opponent and you only have two remaining fighters it means you can't change his color to your hypnotists to remove his armor. This means you can't out-damage his healing ability.
Oh, and I got a bug where if you click while the attack cut-ins are happening it zooms in on your screen and I couldn't get it to go away.
Other than that I like this little game, it's fun to strategize around the color channels and your artsyle is eye-pleasing.
Thank you! Appreciate the bug finding, Ill be using a lot of the stuff from this project in another one so its very helpful. Also interesting note about the soft-lock, I hadn't considered the healing being a problem but putting it on the tanky guy sounds like the mistake there.
